Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Service Technician to service and program fire alarm systems. You will join a dynamic team, travel to local sites, and ensure work complies with codes and safety policies.

The role requires NICET II certification, High School/GED, and 2–5 years of experience in fire alarm systems with Edwards EST 3/4 programming. A valid driver’s license and strong customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 2–5 years as a fire alarm service technician with experience in programming EST 3 or EST 4 (Edwards) fire alarm systems or similar complexity.
• NICET II Certification in Fire Alarm is required.
• Power Limited Technician License or 6000 hours logged is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing, programming and commissioning of fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Assist in servicing fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications and manuals.
• Ensure work adheres to local and national codes and safety policies.
• Present a professional image of Convergint Technologies at all times.
