Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Service Technician to service and program fire alarm systems. The role involves testing, commissioning, and maintaining life safety systems as part of a collaborative team in a fast-growing company.

You will interpret blueprints and specifications, adhere to codes and safety policies, and travel regularly to local job sites to support our customers with world-class service.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 3–5 years as a fire alarm service technician with experience in programming EST 3 or EST 4 (Edwards) fire alarm systems or similar complexity.
• NICET II Certification in Fire Alarm preferred.
• Associates degree in Electronic technology or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test, program, and commission fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Service and maintain fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications and manuals.
• Travel to local jobsites to perform installations and service work.
