Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Service Technician to service and program fire alarm systems. You will be part of a dynamic team and contribute to a culture that values integrity, growth, accountability and results.

Qualifications

Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
Solid programming skills and proven troubleshooting ability.
Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with a variety of hand and power tools.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to travel locally to jobsites; minimal overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Assist in testing, programming and commissioning of fire alarm and life safety systems.
Assist in the servicing of fire alarm and life safety systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programming of Fire Alarm Systems, schematics and manuals.
Execute all work in accordance with local and national codes, and company health and safety policies.
Present a professional image of Convergint Technologies at all times in appearance and behavior.
