Wachter, Inc. seeks experienced Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Burglar Installation Technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial locations nationwide, with extensive travel. Candidates should have strong technical skills, safety focus, and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Proven field installation experience in security environments (Fire Alarm and/or Intrusion).
• Reading blueprints and site maps.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards (70 & 72).
• Proficiency with smartphones, computers, email, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial settings.
• Run low-voltage cabling and install cable support structures.
• Test systems and verify operation of devices and panels.
• Troubleshoot network/cable issues; ensure NFPA compliance.
• Keep detailed records of work performed and adhere to safety requirements.
