Qualifications
- Proven field installation experience in fire alarm and/or intrusion systems.
- In-depth NFPA knowledge, especially NFPA 70 and 72.
- Reading blueprints and site maps required.
- Availability for extensive travel (2–6 weeks at a time) and flexible shifts.
- Current/valid state-required Physical Security or Life Safety license.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial settings.
- Run low-voltage cabling, install cable support structures and run conduit as needed.
- Test installed systems to ensure operability of cables and devices.
- Troubleshoot network and panel issues; ensure compliance with NFPA standards.
- Maintain accurate records and follow safety requirements.
