Job summary

Summit-Fire- is looking for a Fire Alarm & Security Technician in Vero Beach, Florida. This position involves installing and troubleshooting fire alarm systems, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining documentation. Candidates should have a high school diploma, NICET certification preferred, and must possess 2 years of relevant experience. Benefits include paid vacation, medical insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Qualifications

• 2 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm, required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• Must be able to travel 90% of the time locally.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems.
• Repair or replace damaged fire alarm components.
• Use and maintain company-provided vehicle as required by company policies.

Skills

Knowledge of different manufacturers clean agent and high-pressure suppression systems

Comprehensive working knowledge of fire alarm codes and standards

Professional computer skills

Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English

2 years using business intelligence systems

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

NICET or state specific certification
