Job summary

Interface Systems in Long Beach, CA seeks an experienced Security Alarm Technician to diagnose and resolve application issues while maintaining Fire Alarm, TCP/IP Networks, Video Surveillance, Access Control & Wireless solutions. You will install and service security and video systems, wireless devices, and cabling, including testing and commissioning.

The role offers company-provided tools, hands-on field work, and potential for on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with technical training preferred.
• Verifiable field experience in security systems installation and service.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• NICET certification is a plus but not required.
• Must pass state and federal background checks and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain intrusion, fire, video surveillance, network and VoIP systems.
• Work in the field using efficient methods to resolve service issues.
• Train customers on Interface provided systems.
• Maintain inventory levels and document items accordingly.
• Install and terminate network and security cabling; perform firestopping.
