Job summary

Interface Systems seeks a Security Alarm Technician to diagnose and resolve issues while maintaining Fire Alarm, TCP/IP networks, video surveillance, access control and wireless solutions. You will install, service, and test security and video systems and cabling in various environments.

We provide a full tool set and a company vehicle; this is a full-time on-site role with potential on-call duties, competitive benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
• NICET certification is a plus or equivalent field certification.
• Verifiable field experience in security/telecom systems.
• Ability to read/understand technical docs and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain intrusion, fire, video surveillance, network and VoIP systems.
• Work in the field using efficient methods to resolve service issues.
• Train customers on Interface provided systems.
• Maintain inventory levels and document items per policy.
• Install/terminate network and security cabling and perform firestopping.
