Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to perform maintenance and service on fire alarm and security systems across commercial, industrial, and construction environments. This role operates independently, troubleshooting issues, interpreting drawings, and ensuring code compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in fire and life safety, a NICET I or higher preferred, and the ability to work without direct supervision while communicating clearly with customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as a technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service of fire alarm and security systems independently.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions.
• Complete standard service calls without direct supervision.
• Interpret system drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to perform required tasks.
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Provide guidance and support to entry-level technicians as needed.

Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.The Fire Alarm and Security Service Technician is a role responsible for independently performing core technical functions related to the service of fire alarm systems. This position is capable of completing standard service and maintenance tasks without direct supervision.
