Job summary

Wachter, Inc. is hiring a Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Access Control Service Technician to support service and installation work at retail locations across the United States. The role requires a Texas Fire Alarm License, field experience, and the ability to work day shifts with some nights.

Qualifications

• Current and Valid Texas Fire Alarm License.
• Field installation experience in security environments: Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Access Control.
• NICET certification preferred.
• State required Physical Security and/or Life Safety license in applicable tech.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 and 72.
• Read blueprints and site maps.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair IP Video, Access Control/Intrusion/LAN/WAN infrastructure, and wireless LAN.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings; drill concrete walls and conduit bending.
• Complete wiring, connections, and equipment installations with customer satisfaction and contractual compliance.
• Install or upgrade fire alarm systems and program control panels.
• Test systems to ensure operational status and code compliance.
• Adhere to safety requirements and assist the Installation Team Lead.
