Shambaugh & Son, L.P. in Central Illinois is seeking a motivated Fire Alarm Sales Executive to develop new business, build customer relationships, estimate projects and deliver fire alarm solutions that meet code requirements.

Ideal candidates have experience in fire alarm systems or life safety, with the ability to work with contractors and end users throughout the sales process. This role offers a path to grow our fire alarm division in a respected, service-driven company.

Qualifications

• 3 years of fire alarm sales experience preferred.
• NICET certification in fire alarm systems preferred.
• Experience with FIKE, Edwards and Notifier preferred.
• Technical knowledge of VESDA and clean agent systems a plus.
• Ability to read NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 72 standards and local codes.
• Ability to communicate with customers and build long-term relationships.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and contractors both in office and job sites.
• Build and manage sales for the division.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy.
• Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
