Job summary

Shambaugh & Son is seeking a motivated Fire Alarm Sales Executive to develop new business, estimate projects, visit sites, and deliver fire alarm solutions meeting customer needs and codes in Central Illinois.

You should have experience in fire alarm systems or life safety, with the ability to work with contractors, end users, and project stakeholders to grow the division. Strong relationships and sales drive are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of fire alarm sales experience preferred.
• NICET certification in fire alarm systems preferred.
• Experience with FIKE, Edwards and Notifier systems preferred.
• Technical knowledge of NFPA standards and ability to read blueprints is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and contractors both in office and on job sites.
• Build and manage sales for the division.
• Develop a sales strategy to meet customer needs and offerings.
• Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
• Develop relationships with customers, general contractors and end users.
• Estimate small and large projects.
• Build new business relationships and grow the Fire Alarm Business.
