Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Fire Alarm Project Manager to oversee all facets of fire alarm, air sampling, and BDA systems, plus subcontractor management on large hi-tech projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field teams, communicating status to customers, assisting design and BOM, estimating, change orders, and ensuring client documentation while upholding safety and attendance requirements.

Qualifications

  • NICET certification preferred.
  • Experience in large scale hi-tech fire alarm projects preferred.
  • Design and layout experience preferred.
  • Estimating and job costing experience preferred.
  • Experience with VESDA and BDA systems preferred.
  • Experience in working with General Contractors.
  • Experience in building teams and assessing technician ability.
  • OSHA 30 required.
  • Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends as required.

Job Summary

Shambaugh is looking for a Fire Alarm Project Manager. In this role you would be responsible for managing all aspects of the work assigned to include Fire Alarm, Air Sampling equipment, BDA, auxiliary system connections as well as subcontractor management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the work assigned to them to include but not limited to Fire Alarm, Air Sampling equipment, BDA, auxiliary system connections as well as subcontractor management.
  • Responsible for all communication regarding the project status with both customer base as well as the internal communications.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet the required schedule work in progress meetings and milestones.
  • Assist with design, bill of materials, and scheduling.
  • Work with field Superintendents and other Project Managers for project needs and progress.
  • Order materials and equipment needed for projects.
  • Assist in estimating, change orders, and project durations as requested.
  • Fulfill client documentation requirements.
  • Other duties as required.

$65,000 - $120,000 annual salary

Other Compensation
