Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer based in our Fridley, MN office or our Fenton, MO office. You will coordinate field staff and assist the PM in managing administrative and technical direction of fire alarm installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The role involves technical support, cost estimates, documentation, and possible small project management with close supervision, specifically focused on fire alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• NICET certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Honeywell, Potter, Siemens, Notifier or other fire alarm systems is preferred.
• Experience with Accubida Plus.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating field staff and assisting the project manager in managing the overall administrative and technical direction of fire alarm installation projects.
• Ensure project quality, schedule, cost control, safety and customer satisfaction objectives are met or exceeded.
• Provide technical and engineering support, cost estimates, and assemble and maintain documentation for project commissioning and closeout.
• Manage small projects with close supervision and focus on Fire Alarm systems.
• Build effective relationships with customers, foremen, design team, contractors, suppliers and user groups.
