Job summary

Northstar Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Alarm Project Manager to oversee all phases of fire alarm, air sampling equipment, BDA, and auxiliary systems projects. You will also manage subcontractors and coordinate with field teams to keep projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of experience on large-scale fire alarm projects, OSHA 30, and strong design/layout and estimating skills. This on-site role requires collaboration with general contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• NICET II certification preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience on large-scale fire alarm projects.
• Experience with VESDA and BDA systems preferred.
• Experience with general contractors.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Strong design and layout experience preferred.
• Estimating and job costing experience preferred.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Fire Alarm, Air Sampling, BDA, and subcontractor work.
• Communicate project status with customers and internal teams.
• Develop and execute strategies to meet schedules and milestones.
• Assist with design, BOM, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with field Superintendents and other PMs.
• Order materials and equipment for projects.
• Assist in estimating, change orders, and durations.
• Fulfill client documentation requirements.
• Perform other duties as required.
