VSC Fire & Security in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Fire Alarm - Low Voltage Service Technician to service and repair integrated fire and security systems. Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years servicing fire alarm, security, camera, access control or similar systems.
- Excellent ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate clearly.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and repair fire alarm, security, camera, access control, suppression, and related systems.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and false alarms; program systems and verify proper operation.
- Consult with clients, explain issues and recommend repairs.
- Read blueprints and plans to determine installations; run wiring and connect hardware.
- Perform regular inspections, battery and wiring tests, and repairs as needed.
