VSC Fire & Security in Charleston, NC seeks a Fire Alarm - Low Voltage Service Technician to install, test and service fire alarm, security and related systems. Role requires field troubleshooting, client communication and adherence to safety codes.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience servicing fire alarm, security or camera systems.
• Ability to read plans, documents and meters with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• NICET or related certifications are a plus but not required.
• Must pass background checks and have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and repair fire alarm, security, camera, access control, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and respond to alarms and service requests.
• Program systems and verify proper operation with clients.
• Review blueprints and install according to building layouts.
• Document changes and provide remote/onsite support as needed.
• Be on call and serve as first contact for customer tech support.
