Job summary

ORR Protection is seeking a Superintendent - Fire Alarm to lead field installations of fire alarm and suppression systems in the Indianapolis area. You will supervise technicians and subcontractors, ensuring top-tier workmanship and customer service while coordinating with project management.

The role requires five years of experience, blueprints and fire alarm programming knowledge, and strong communication. Travel to local sites and remote deployment from home are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in service and/or installation of fire alarm or special hazard systems.
• Experience reading blueprints and fire alarm programming.
• NICET certification preferred; associate degree preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead installations of fire alarm and related suppression systems on job sites.
• Oversee on-site technicians and subcontractors to ensure quality work.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Install Coordinator on progress updates.
• Complete compliance paperwork and documentation for each project.
• Respond to emergency service requests and perform troubleshooting.
• Train customers on system functionality and provide post-install support.
• Travel to local sites; remote deployment from home to job sites as needed.
