Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to perform on-site inspections, maintenance and testing of fire alarm systems for clients. The role requires traveling to sites, adherence to fire and electrical codes, and accurate documentation of inspection results.

You will communicate findings with clients and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station, perform preventive maintenance, and support daily operations under the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain required licenses/certifications to operate in state security.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Strong math skills including area, volume, proportions and percentages.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventive maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify systems and devices function per manufacturer specifications.
• Complete paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor for daily operations.
