Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to provide reliable, high-quality customer support through on-site maintenance, inspections and preventative services on fire and security systems. Starting pay is based on experience, with a tool allowance, company vehicle and cell phone, and competitive benefits.

Required are a valid driver's license, ability to pass background checks and drug tests, and the ability to obtain necessary licenses/certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and be able to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must be able to obtain specified licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry according to state rules.
• High School Graduate or GED is required for all Per Mar Security Services positions.
• Must be able to travel, as needed.
• Must have mathematical skills including ability to calculate figures and amounts.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance services on client fire alarm systems
• Test and verify that all systems and devices function properly per manufacturers' specifications
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station
• All other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor specific to daily operations
