Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to perform on-site maintenance, inspections, and preventative services for fire and security systems. Starting pay is based on experience and includes practical field training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain required licenses/certifications to work in security per state regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Strong math skills including basic algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify that all systems and devices function properly per manufacturer specs.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and Central Monitoring Station.
• All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
