Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Fire Inspector to perform inspection, testing, and minor repairs on fire alarm systems in Lenexa, KS. The role includes mentoring entry-level inspectors and adhering to NFPA72 standards while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will generate documentation, train customer personnel, and maintain equipment and stock in company vehicles. A valid driver’s license and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year ITM experience in Fire Alarm or Fire Life Safety Systems.
• Ability to work in various environments around mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Must have a valid driver's license with limited violations and be eligible for Siemens fleet program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Follow inspection schedules and perform testing and minor repairs for fire alarm equipment in line with NFPA72 and local codes.
• Maintain documentation of tests and generate/upload reports to city municipalities.
• Provide training to customer personnel on operation and inspections.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain equipment stock in vehicles.
• Complete required training and certifications within the specified timelines.
