Siemens Mobility is seeking a Fire Inspector to support our Gulfport, MS location, serving the greater Gulf Coast. You will inspect, test, and service fire alarm systems, mentor entry-level inspectors, and ensure compliance with NFPA72 and local codes.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and professional customer interactions in varied environments. The ideal candidate has ITM experience, strong physical stamina, and the ability to work on-site in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of ITM experience for Fire Alarm/Fire Life Safety Systems.
• Ability to work in varied environments including ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must differentiate wire types/colors.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license and fleet eligibility.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain structured inspection schedules; perform inspection, testing, and minor repairs for fire alarm equipment; document deficiencies and pricing; complete service tickets.
• Maintain complete documentation of tests; generate reports and upload to city municipalities.
• Provide operations instructions and training to customer personnel.
• Work overtime as needed; manage stock, tools, and equipment in vehicles.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures (OSHA).
• Complete required training and certifications within stated timelines.
