Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Nashville, TN is seeking a Fire Inspector to join our team. You will perform inspection, testing and minor service on fire alarm systems, mentor entry level inspectors, and support public safety and property protection in the greater Nashville area.

Requirements include 3+ years ITM experience, ability to work in varied environments, a valid driver's license and US work authorization. NICET Fire Alarm Level II is preferred and reading design/construction docs is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ ITM experience on Fire Alarm/Life Safety systems.
• Ability to work in mechanical and electrical environments, including ladders and lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Must have valid driver’s license and US work authorization.
• NICET Level II preferred within 12 months.
• Ability to read design/construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow inspection schedules and perform inspection, testing, and minor service repairs for fire alarm equipment to NFPA72 and local codes.
• Document deficiencies, remedies, and pricing; complete service tickets and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain complete documentation of tests; generate reports and upload to city websites.
• Provide operation training to customer personnel and assist with onboarding.
• Maintain tools and equipment; comply with safety policies and training requirements.
