Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Fire Inspector for our Nashville, TN location to perform inspections, testing, and minor repairs of fire alarm systems in compliance with NFPA72 and local codes. The role includes documenting results and providing customer instruction while mentoring junior staff.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years ITM experience, the ability to work in varied environments, and a valid driver’s license. NICET certification and ongoing training are preferred; benefits and full-time status

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Alarm and/or Fire Life Safety Systems.
• Ability to work around mechanical and electrical equipment in varied environments; climb ladders, scaffolds, and work in ducts, ceilings, and outside/inside.
• Must differentiate wire types/colors and have a valid driver’s license with fleet program eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain inspection schedules; perform testing and minor repairs; document deficiencies and pricing with customers.
• Maintain complete documentation of tests; generate reports and upload to city municipality websites.
• Provide operation instructions and training to customer personnel.
• Occasionally work overtime; manage stock and tools in vehicles.
• Adhere to safety policies; complete required training and certifications on time.
