Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Fire Inspector in Norcross, GA to perform inspections, testing, and minor repairs of fire alarm and life safety systems. You will document results, generate reports, and ensure compliance with NFPA72 and local codes on a site-based schedule.

The role requires 3+ years ITM experience, ability to work in varied environments, and a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred) is expected, with opportunities for NICET certification and safety

Qualifications

• Experience performing ITM of Fire Alarm and/or Fire Life Safety Systems.
• Ability to work in varied environments around mechanical/electrical equipment; capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Must differentiate wire types/colors.
• Must have a valid driver's license with limited violations; eligible for Siemens fleet program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain inspection schedules; perform inspection, testing, and minor service/deficiency repairs per NFPA72 and local codes.
• Document all tests; generate reports in Siemens tools and upload to municipality portals.
• Provide operation instructions and training to customer personnel.
• Maintain stock, tools, and equipment in vehicles; work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Complete required training and certifications within the required timeframes for the role.
