Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to support testing and inspecting fire alarm systems for customers in the Totowa area. You will follow safety procedures, document work, and ensure equipment is properly maintained.

Responsibilities include inspecting systems, climbing ladders, handling equipment up to 70lbs, and possibly weekend shifts to meet customer needs. A high school diploma and clean driving record are required; NICET I within 1 year is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• NICET I certification within 1 year of employment preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect fire alarm systems with existing and new customers.
• Maintain documentation for work performed using provided tools.
• Follow safety policies and procedures in all tasks.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and carry tools up to 70lbs.
• Work in sometimes difficult positions, including ladders and scaffolding.
• Possibility of alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer needs.
