Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United States is seeking an Inspector to perform routine inspections, testing, service, and preventive maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines and related equipment.

The role requires 2+ years of installation or service experience, a Fire Alarm License, and the ability to travel and work weekends as needed. Basic computer skills are required, with NICET certification preferred for advanced opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Installation or Service experience in testing and inspecting Fire Alarm Equipment.
• Fire Alarm License.
• Ability to travel and work weekends as needed.
• Moderate level of experience with computer software and technology.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical, sprinkler or suppression life safety product lines during routine inspections and testing.
• Perform maintenance, minor repairs, and programming changes.
• Input, retrieve and archive inspection documents via mobile devices.
• Provide technical training to junior inspectors and trainees.
• Complete inspections on time and report results.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
