Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• Less than 2 years of experience in electronic security, low voltage cabling, IT support, or related field.
• Driver's license required on hire.
• Low voltage/security license if required by state/local regulations on hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication with emphasis on confidentiality and diplomacy.
• Proficient knowledge of Information Technology and basic IT tasks.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and support of electronic security systems across the Johns Hopkins enterprise.
• Perform routine field tasks and assist with system deployments.
• Resolve basic hardware issues and support preventive maintenance efforts.
• Escalations for more advanced programming, networking, or enterprise diagnostics to senior/lead technicians.
