Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. is seeking a Fire Alarm Designer to manage all aspects of the work for fire alarm, VESDA, and special hazard systems and components.

You will contribute to designing systems, coordinating with customers and internal teams, and supporting project milestones with AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, and Navisworks. This on-site role requires experience in fire alarm design and large construction projects.

Qualifications

• Experience designing fire alarm, VESDA, clean agent, and control systems.
• Experience with large construction projects and coordinating with field teams.
• Ability to work in high-paced, large construction environments and meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing fire alarm, VESDA, clean agent, and control systems.
• Coordinate project status with customers and internal teams.
• Assist in design schedules to meet milestones and progress meetings.
• Assist with design, BOM, and scheduling as needed.
• Collaborate with field Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Operate AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
