Job summary

Wachter, Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Access Control Service Technician to support work at various retail locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Field installation experience in Fire Alarm / Intrusion / Access Control.
• NICET certification preferred.
• Active state security or life safety licenses in the applicable technology.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 & 72 standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair cabling for IP Video, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm, LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings and drill/conduit work as needed.
• Ensure complete wiring and terminations meet contractual requirements and customer needs.
• Install, program, and test fire alarm panels under guidance of plans and layouts.
• Adhere to safety requirements and company/OSHA rules; maintain documentation and on-site coordination.
