Job summary

Wachter, Inc. is hiring a Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Access Control Service Technician to support installations and service at retail locations nationwide. The role requires field experience in security systems, NFPA knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Field installation experience in security environments: Fire Alarm /Intrusion / Access Control.
• Familiar with NFPA standards (NFPA 70 / NFPA 72).
• Ability to read blueprints and site maps.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair cabling systems and equipment for IP Video, Access Control / Intrusion, and LAN/WAN.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings and perform drilling and conduit work.
• Ensure all wiring and terminations meet contract requirements and safety codes.
• Test fire alarm systems and components to verify operation.
• Adhere to project safety requirements and participate in on-site scheduling with leadership.
• Provide on-site and remote technical escalation support as needed.
