Client Relations Specialist @ MGT | Business Development Manager specializing in staffing

MGT is seeking an experienced Manager of Security for a contract assignment in the Greater Providence area. The selected candidate will be employed by MGT and contracted to the Client for the duration of the assignment. This position is expected to be long term through December 31, 2026.

Job Summary:

The Fire & Admin Services Manager is responsible for overseeing fire safety operations, emergency preparedness, and administrative services within the organization. This role ensures compliance with fire safety regulations, manages fire response teams, and oversees administrative functions to maintain efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fire Safety & Emergency Management:
    • Develop and implement fire safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal fire safety regulations.
    • Conduct risk assessments and fire safety inspections across facilities.
    • Oversee fire suppression systems, alarm systems, and emergency response plans.
    • Coordinate fire drills, evacuation procedures, and emergency response training.
    • Collaborate with local fire departments and emergency services as needed.
  2. Administrative Services Management:
    • Supervise administrative support teams to ensure efficient operations.
    • Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to fire safety and administrative functions.
    • Manage budgets, procurement, and resource allocation for fire safety equipment and administrative needs.
    • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and organizational policies.
    • Oversee facility maintenance and security as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Public Administration, Safety Management, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Certifications such as NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) or OSHA Fire Safety preferred.
  3. Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, emergency response procedures, and risk management.
  4. Proven experience in fire safety management and administrative leadership.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to handle crisis situations and make quick, informed decisions.
  7. Office setting with periodic site inspections and emergency response duties.
  8. May require working outside regular hours in emergency situations.
