Payactiv, Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Milpitas, CA to lead enterprise migration projects and coordinate cross-functional teams across legacy, payroll, and time systems. The role emphasizes delivering seamless client transitions and robust API integrations.

The ideal candidate combines a strong technical background with fintech domain knowledge, excels in stakeholder communication, and can drive programs in a fast-paced environment. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• 35 years of experience in technical program management or related roles in software/fintech.
• Proven track record of managing complex software development and integration projects from requirements through production launch.
• Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum practices, release management, QA/UAT, deployment processes.
• Practical understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication/authorization concepts, API documentation, and system integrations.
• Experience working with distributed/offshore teams across time zones.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical details to stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end migration for enterprise clients with minimal service disruption.
• Coordinate data mappings, including employee ID transitions and payroll configurations.
• Align legacy systems, payroll platforms, and new time & attendance software for seamless integration.
• Develop migration plans with KPIs and milestones to track progress.
• Guide clients on credential setups and API data access securely.
• Provide stakeholder training to ensure successful platform adoption.
• Identify and mitigate risks during migration lifecycle and escalate as needed.
• Advise on data structures and system configuration to maximize ROI.
