Job summary

Relay Payments is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and scale the Commercial Team (T3) within our sales organization in Atlanta. You will coach a team of full-cycle Account Executives, drive net-new business, and help fleets save time and money on the road.

You will manage a team of 10, run the sales process from prospecting to close, and own coaching, development, and forecasting. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence three days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in outbound-focused account executive roles.
• At least 1 year as a team lead or people manager.
• Comfort with a 30-45 day sales cycle and closing 10-15 deals per month.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; error-free grammar.
• Familiarity with GAP, Challenger, or similar sales methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the direction and day-to-day strategy for a team of 10 Account Executives.
• Drive success across prospecting, business development, sales process, and closing deals.
• Conduct weekly team meetings and regular one-on-ones with reps.
• Coach and develop team members for career progression.
• Manage performance standards and weekly forecasting for the team.
• Own recruiting and hiring for the team to join Relay.
• In-office presence three days per week in Cobb-Galleria (hybrid).
