Job summary

Brex, the intelligent finance platform, is seeking a Product and Privacy Counsel to lead the privacy program and advise on regulatory developments at the intersection of financial services and technology. You will scale privacy governance, implement global compliance with GDPR/CCPA, and provide strategic guidance to product teams, bank partners, and regulators while preserving Brex's business objectives.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years of experience in law firms, technology and fintech with privacy and regulatory focus.
• Deep understanding of privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR) and financial regulations.
• JD from an accredited law school; bar admission in at least one US state.

Responsibilities

• Scale Data Privacy and Security Programs in collaboration with engineering and business teams.
• Develop and implement Global Privacy Compliance processes across GDPR, CCPA and related regulations.
• Negotiate data-related contracts and provide regulatory/compliance guidance for products and go-to-market activities.
• Represent Brex externally with financial partners and regulatory bodies; manage outside counsel.
