Job summary

Brex seeks a Product and Privacy Counsel to lead privacy programs and guide regulatory strategy across fintech markets. You will partner with cross-functional teams to scale privacy, assess legal developments, and advise on product and data initiatives to protect Brex's business objectives.

The role requires a JD, US bar admission, 4+ years in privacy/regulatory work, and a business-minded, proactive approach in a fast-paced environment. Compensation includes base salary with equity potential.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Bar admission and active standing in at least one U.S. state.
• 4+ years in privacy and financial regulatory matters.
• Strong judgment and ability to work independently.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Scale Data Privacy and Security Programs with engineering and business teams.
• Implement Global Privacy Compliance for GDPR and CCPA.
• Lead drafting and negotiation of data-related contracts.
• Provide product and regulatory advice for all products.
• Represent Brex with partners and regulators externally.
• Collaborate with compliance, engineering, and business teams on innovations.
• Manage outside counsel for regulatory and privacy matters.
