Job summary

UBS is seeking a Research - Americas Equity analyst to conduct financial analysis and develop models for Payments, Processors, & FinTech sectors. You’ll author research reports, communicate theses to clients, and attend investor events.

The role sits in the Global Research team, closely collaborating with a Lead Analyst in New York and team members to deliver rigorous equity research and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting; MBA preferred but not essential.
• Experience evaluating companies is a plus.
• Strong client engagement focus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good accounting sense and ability to interpret annual reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and provide financial insights for select Payments, Processors, & FinTech securities to aid in making solid investment decisions. Author research reports on covered companies to communicate investment theses and opine on news flow events.
• Build and maintain financial models to track and value companies. Prepare research reports that include company overview, competitive analysis, valuation, and other relevant information based on quantitative and fundamental factors.
• Communicate investment theses to clients and institutional sales. Attend industry and investor events.
• Perform due diligence for potential banking transactions and companies (IPO’s and follow-ons).
