Financial Technology Partners is seeking an Equity Research Vice President in a senior, entrepreneurial role. The VP will lead coverage of FinTech information services, payroll software, and remittance, collaborating with the research and banking teams to deliver high‑quality, actionable research.

Based in San Francisco or New York, the candidate will mentor junior analysts, build complex models, and shape the equity research strategy. MBA/CFA preferred; SIE/Series exams not required here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
• MBA or CFA designation (or candidacy) preferred.
• 5–8+ years of relevant experience with leadership and sector expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Familiarity with industry data platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and Capital IQ.

Responsabilités

• Lead coverage of information services, payroll software, and remittance within FinTech.
• Build and maintain robust financial models, including earnings forecasts and valuations.
• Conduct in-depth company and sector research using multiple data sources.
• Analyze market trends and regulatory factors influencing investment outlooks.
• Author research reports, investment ideas, and thematic pieces; mentor junior analysts.
