Job summary

UBS is seeking a Research - Americas Equity analyst in New York, NY to conduct analysis and build financial models for Payments, Processors, and FinTech securities. The role involves communicating investment theses to clients and attending investor events, while performing due diligence for potential banking transactions.

You’ll work in the Global Research team, collaborating closely with a Lead Analyst and others to evaluate publicly traded companies and develop actionable research reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting; MBA preferred
• Experience evaluating companies is a plus
• Strong client engagement focus and service mindset
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Accounting literacy and ability to read annual reports
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; programming knowledge is a plus
• Clear communicator; educate with models and reports
• Inquisitive, organized, and detail-oriented
• Self-starter; thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; AI awareness

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and provide financial insights for select Payments, Processors, & FinTech securities; author research reports on covered companies.
• Build and maintain financial models to track and value companies; prepare reports with overview, analysis and valuation.
• Communicate investment theses to clients and institutional sales; attend industry and investor events.
• Perform due diligence for potential banking transactions and IPOs/follow-ons.
