Job summary

Range, headquartered in McLean, VA with a Seattle area office, seeks an Onboarding Specialist to guide new members through setup and product onboarding. This role combines customer education and relationship-building within an in-office, Monday–Friday schedule, with relocation considered for the right candidate.

You will connect financial accounts, assist with product walkthroughs, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Ops to enhance the onboarding journey.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer-facing role such as onboarding or support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with customers.
• Ability to explain financial and technical concepts clearly.
• Comfort troubleshooting issues across digital tools and platforms.
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or startup environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide new members through end-to-end onboarding, including account setup and product walkthroughs.
• Be primary contact for onboarding questions via phone, video, chat, and email.
• Explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Troubleshoot onboarding issues and data syncing to ensure timely resolution.
• Identify friction points and partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to improve processes.
• Maintain documentation for smooth handoffs and long-term member success.
