• Review merchant applications and supporting documents such as processing statements, bank statements, and business financials.
• Verify business ownership and identity, and check for red flags.
• Assess risk from industry, business model, chargeback history, and volume.
• Match each merchant with a compatible processing setup and acquiring bank.
• Prepare complete underwriting files and work with bank partners through approval.
• Request missing information from merchants and sales in a clear, timely way.
• Document decisions and conditions such as reserves or processing limits.
• Support periodic reviews of existing merchant accounts.
