Job summary

Gallup in Omaha offers a fintech internship where you apply analytics and technology to real business questions. You’ll work with finance and IT teams to model data, run reports and map processes. This paid internship pays $20 per hour and runs 12 weeks during summer 2027, with up to 20 hours per week during the school year.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle in a supportive environment, with on-site access and potential for a full-time offer after graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate program in fintech, analytics, CS or related field.
• SQL classroom or work experience preferred.
• Classroom or work experience in financial, business or data analytics preferred.
• Familiarity with Oracle software preferred.
• Must be within 250 miles of Omaha, NE.
• Anticipated graduation Aug 2027–May 2028 (2029 ok).
• Available to work 40 hours/week for 12 weeks in Summer 2027.
• On-site in Omaha Mon-Thu, Friday remote.
• U.S. work authorization; not visa-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical and technical skills to financial processes, data and enterprise systems.
• Use SQL to analyze data, support reporting needs, and help investigate and solve business problems.
• Support projects involving business process analysis, data mapping and other technical solutions.
• Collaborate with finance, technology and other partners to understand business needs and develop practical solutions.
• Learn Gallup’s Oracle environment and understand systems supporting revenue/contract reporting.
• Take ownership of project work with guidance from experienced teammates.
