Job summary

Hire Hangar is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support Representative with a strong financial background for a fast-growing U.S.-based fintech company. You will assist customers and partners on account, payment, and transaction inquiries, including high-value money movements, ensuring accurate, timely resolutions in a customer-first environment.

This remote role requires experience with payments, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliation, plus comfortable use of CRMs and ticketing tools.

Qualifications

Experience in financial services, fintech, banking or payments.
Experience handling seven-figure money movements with high accuracy.
Understanding of payment processing, refunds, chargebacks and reconciliation.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Comfort with ticketing systems, CRMs and internal financial tools.

Responsibilities

Respond to inbound inquiries via email, chat and tickets with accurate resolutions.
Investigate payments, cashback rewards, gift cards, refunds and balances.
Monitor high-value transactions and money movements for accuracy.
Flag suspicious activity and escalate to internal teams.
Reconcile transaction records and verify payment details.
Document interactions and recurring issues in the support system.
Collaborate with finance, risk and product to resolve complex cases.
Contribute to the internal knowledge base with fixes and FAQs.
Maintain professionalism, empathy and clear communication throughout.
