Job summary

FinOps Weekly is hiring a FinOps Lead to own the cloud financial management strategy. You will report to the VP of Platform Engineering and drive cost visibility, accountability, and optimization across AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments.

You will build a FinOps Center of Excellence, establish governance and tagging standards, and translate cloud usage into actionable insights for leadership and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, CS, engineering or finance.
• 3–5+ years in cloud financial management or infra ops.
• Experience with enterprise public cloud environments.
• Experience in a senior or SME role.
• Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure cost frameworks and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead FinOps Center of Excellence across orgs.
• Improve cloud spend visibility and governance.
• Develop dashboards for shared, containerized, and untagged costs.
• Translate usage into actionable cost insights and unit economics.
• Partner with engineering, finance, and leadership on cost optimization.
