Job summary

Sysdig is seeking a senior FinOps leader to own and optimize cloud costs across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will translate infrastructure spend into business metrics and drive governance with Finance, Product, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, or operational cost management.
• Proven track record of reducing cloud/hosting spend at scale (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong grasp of unit economics and translating infrastructure costs into actionable metrics.
• Experience building governance processes and cross-functional accountability.
• Experience with GPU/AI compute cost optimization and high-volume data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own hosting/cloud cost transparency: build reporting and dashboards by product, team, and workload.
• Partner with engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities and rightsizing strategies.
• Build cost governance for AI/GPU compute and security telemetry pipelines.
• Manage cost and pricing tradeoffs across multi-cloud, multi-region infra.
• Translate infrastructure costs into cost-to-serve and gross-margin metrics for pricing.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to advance cost initiatives and report savings.
