Job summary

Velera, a premier payments fintech, seeks a FinOps Lead to craft and run the cloud financial management strategy. You will promote cost transparency, accountability, and optimization across multi‑cloud platforms and establish a FinOps Center of Excellence.

You will build dashboards with Flexera One and cost tools, deliver actionable insights to engineering and finance, and enforce governance. This remote‑first role offers strong benefits and a chance to shape Velera's cloud economics.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in cloud financial management or infrastructure with enterprise cloud experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional optimization initiatives.
• Strong analytical capabilities with SQL, data modeling, and BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead FinOps CoE.
• Develop dashboards and cost allocation for shared, containerized, and untagged cloud expenses.
• Provide cost insights and unit economics reporting to infrastructure leadership.
• Drive governance and cost optimization initiatives across cloud platforms.
