Amazon is hiring an Accounts Payable Analyst to join FinOps in HQ2. You will support procure-to-pay processes, manage payment activities, and analyze vendor data to drive improvements.

The role collaborates with vendors, offshore partners, and internal stakeholders across time zones. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in AP and finance, strong data skills with Excel/SQL, and experience driving process improvements in corporate finance.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• 3+ years of finance experience.
• 2+ years of applying KPIs to analyses.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or analytical field.
• Knowledge of financial controls and procedures.
• Experience using data to influence business decisions.
• Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting.

Aufgaben

• Understand and execute procure‑to‑pay processes with emphasis on payment processing.
• Identify escalation trends and root causes.
• Partner with upstream and downstream teams.
• Use Excel/SQL or similar tools for reporting and analysis.
• Create and maintain SOPs and Amazon operational documents.
• Report key metrics daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Escalate issues to leadership for resolution.
• Lead continuous process improvements and projects.
• Manage ambiguous situations and communicate with stakeholders.
