Job summary

Amazon’s FinOps team in Arlington, VA seeks a hands-on Manager of Finance Management for Accounts Payable to lead an expanding AP function. You will drive process improvements, partner with senior leaders, and utilize data to guide decisions across vendors and internal stakeholders.

You will manage cross-functional collaboration with upstream teams, implement scalable P2P/O2C solutions, and mentor a growing team while upholding Amazon Day 1 leadership principles.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience.
• 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
• 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
• 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
• 5+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 5+ members.
• 3+ years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional AP team to scale Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Set objectives; monitor KPIs and deliver on roadmaps.
• Partner with senior leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
• Develop financial and operational plans to achieve long-term goals.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting and performance insights for actions.
• Educate internal and external customers on self-service tools and processes.
• Coordinate with US/Canada time zones and India partners.
