Job summary

South Jersey Bakery LLC in Paulsboro, NJ, is seeking a Finishing Team Member to join our production operations. You will be responsible for mixing, quality checks, filling, and packing to meet quality standards and production schedules.

Responsibilities include line start-up/shut-down, documenting batch sheets, maintaining 5S and GMP compliance, and supporting safety and continuous improvement initiatives on the production line.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to follow GMP and safety procedures.
• Manufacturing line experience is a plus.
• Ability to document batch sheets and keep work area organized.

South Jersey Bakery LLC, headquartered in Paulsboro, NJ, is a wholesale provider of a wide range of bakery products. As a Finishing Team Member, your primary responsibilities include mixing, quality checks, filling, and packing of products in accordance with process and quality standards, to ensure that production schedules are met.

Essential Functions:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Start up and shut down operations for line
• Document all required paperwork, such as Batch Sheets and CCP forms
• Limit down-time and use this time to prepare for more product, or to pack and clean line. Downtime that is the result of mechanical failure- missing packaging, etc. should be reported to the lead or supervisor immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness on line and 5S standards. Equipment and work areas must be kept organized, clean and sanitary throughout the shift. End of shift requires cleaning of equipment and removal of any waste and garbage generated during the shift. Ensure proper care of equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person. Report any injury or accident immediately to supervisory and/or any unsafe condition.
• Support and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety, employee safety and preventative maintenance programs
• Support and comply with GMP’s
• Participate in TPM initiatives
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Other misc. duties as assigned
